Canada Fishing Trip - Experience the ultimate in eastern Brook Trout and Northern Pike fishing in one of Canada's last unspoiled frontiers. Crooks lake Lodge is located 60 miles south of Goose Bay, Labrador on the Upper Eagle River Watershed. The lake is five miles long with rivers and streams full of big "Brookies" that run between 2 and 6 pounds. Trout as large as 7 pounds are not uncommon. Large Northern Pike, up to 20 pounds, are plentiful.
The majority of the fishing is done in the rivers and streams with dry fly equipment. Spinning gear may be used with single barbless hooks only.
The main camp consists of a kitchen, dining and lounge area, bathroom, three bedrooms and a screened in sunporch. Sleeping quarters are equipped with comfortable beds and clean linen. The camp is limited to 8 guests per week and the emphasis is on personal attention. Outboard powered boats with one guide per two anglers are provided.
A "catch and release " policy is followed. You will catch fish in such numbers that the great majority will be returned to the water unharmed. However, should you choose to retain one of your fish as a trophy mount we will pack your trophy for you in a box suitable for the purpose. Don't forget your camera and plenty of film, because at Crook's Lake Lodge wildlife is abundant
